CONFERENCE:
Timber - the key to sustainable innovation in building
During the past years on the last Thursday of November, the Estonian Forest Industries Association jointly with the Estonian Timber Construction Cluster Project has hosted the conference, “Timber: The key to sustainable innovation in building”. The speakers have been well known and respected architects and engineers from Europe. Energy efficiency and environmental sustainability have been the most resounding topics.

The Timber Construction Cluster organized a field trip for its partners to participate in the internationally notable Timber Construction Conference. This conference is renowned for its draw of world leaders in the timber construction sector. Thus providing members an opportunity to participate in this event enables them to see first hand what direction innovation in the industry is going. Amongst the thousands of delegates that attended this conference were 10 members of the Estonian Timber Construction Cluster Project.
